Day to day, Sunrise feels like a full Fun Ship week packed into a Destiny hull that Carnival rebuilt and renamed. The 2019 Sunshine-class conversion layered on the venues shoppers expect: Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, Cucina del Capitano, and pool-deck energy that stays busy at full load. She’s larger and louder than Spirit-class sisters, so we set expectations for crowds on sea days and peak elevator waits before anyone books a short Florida week.
Cabins span the usual Carnival ladder, including Cloud 9 Spa rooms for guests who will actually use the spa circuit during the sailing.
