We experience Costa Serena as a busy, Mediterranean-born ship that still carries Carnival-family DNA in the atrium and on the social pool deck. Expect fixed-seating main dining rhythm and a lively international guest mix rather than hush or yacht manners. The 2025 Mazhou drydock refreshed public rooms and added Pizzeria Pummid’Oro, Sushino@Costa, and Archipelago, so the culinary map feels newer than her 2007 keel suggests on paper.
Cabins follow Concordia-class norms, where insides and oceanviews still dominate the inventory and balconies sit at a real premium.
