Daytime rhythm runs through attraction decks and SeaPlex rather than Central Park calm. We send thrill seekers to RipCord by iFLY and the glass North Star capsule, kids toward activity programming, and mixed groups through Two70 and Music Hall evenings. Energy stays lively most sea days, so plan peak queues for the headliners instead of hoping for hush when the ship is sailing full.
Cabins are a Quantum strength: rooms run a bit roomier than Oasis peers, with real balconies as the volume play and Virtual Balcony insides when you need a price lever. Show ship backgroundHide ship backgroundOvation of the Seas is Royal Caribbean’s third Quantum-class ship, delivered in 2016 after the Project Sunshine program that also produced Quantum and Anthem. Meyer Werft built the class around larger-than-Oasis cabin averages, Virtual Balcony insides, and signature toys including North Star and RipCord by iFLY. She was the first Quantum hull purpose-aimed at the China market from Tianjin.
After Asia debut seasons she rotated through Singapore, Australia, Alaska, and later California programs. A 2026 Royal Amplified drydock in Singapore added staterooms, refreshed the pool deck with private casitas, and swapped venues. Updates included Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen, Izumi Teppanyaki, and Pesky Parrot Bar, without changing the Quantum skeleton.
