Show ship backgroundHide ship backgroundOvation of the Seas is Royal Caribbean’s third Quantum-class ship, delivered in 2016 after the Project Sunshine program that also produced Quantum and Anthem. Meyer Werft built the class around larger-than-Oasis cabin averages, Virtual Balcony insides, and signature toys including North Star and RipCord by iFLY. She was the first Quantum hull purpose-aimed at the China market from Tianjin.
After Asia debut seasons she rotated through Singapore, Australia, Alaska, and later California programs. A 2026 Royal Amplified drydock in Singapore added staterooms, refreshed the pool deck with private casitas, and swapped venues. Updates included Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen, Izumi Teppanyaki, and Pesky Parrot Bar, without changing the Quantum skeleton.
