We book Seabourn Quest when couples want ultra-luxury service on yacht-scale bones—open bars, suite living, and real destination stretch from the Med to Alaska and Antarctica—not megaship spectacle.
We experience Quest as Odyssey-class Seabourn: cream-and-neutral boutique hotel energy, nearly one-to-one staffing, and a pace that favors conversation over queues. Days orbit Seabourn Square, the wooden-deck pool, and Marina mornings when itineraries allow kayaks or the in-sea platform. Evenings stay soft at The Club, Observation Bar, or Grand Salon rather than a Broadway arms race, and the two-deck Spa at Seabourn is a real reason we pick her over noisier luxury peers.
All accommodations are suites, and most guests live well in a Veranda Suite. We’d step to a Penthouse Suite when you want a true bedroom split and powder room, or Penthouse Spa Suites when unlimited Spa Terrace access is the point; Grand Wintergarden territory is the connection play for longer voyages. Ask us about category and deck before you lock—closet space and bathroom layout matter as much as square footage.
Dining is included and flexible: The Restaurant, themed nights at The Colonnade, tasting menus at Restaurant 2, The Grill by Thomas Keller, and Mediterranean Solis. Versus newer Encore-class ships, Quest trades infinite-veranda modernity for proven Odyssey intimacy and expedition-capable hardware. Confirm your sailing below and we’ll tune suite and voyage length to the itinerary you actually want.
She’s a 2011 Odyssey lead—2026 Genoa refreshed suites and lounges well, but she lacks Encore-class infinite verandas and newest cabin tech. If modern suite design is your priority, confirm category tradeoffs with us before booking.
Seabourn Quest is the third Odyssey-class yacht from Mariotti (hull 64). She was christened in Barcelona on 20 June 2011 by Blythe Danner, then sailed a Mediterranean maiden to Athens. Sisters Odyssey and Sojourn later moved to Mitsui Ocean service; Quest remains in the Seabourn fleet, and tonnage, berths, and crew ratios sit on the fact sheet on this page.
Refits matter on a ship this age. A 2013 yard period added Zodiac cradles for Antarctica; 2016 created aft Penthouse Spa Suites from the old Spa Terrace; 2018 refreshed interiors shipwide. May 2026 at Fincantieri Genoa renovated suites, The Club, Seabourn Square, pool deck systems, and crew areas with large-scale carpet replacement.
Deployment historically mixes Mediterranean hubs (Barcelona, Rome, Venice), Norwegian fjords, South America and Antarctica, plus a 2025 Alaska season between Vancouver and Juneau. Longer grand and world-cruise segments appear in later seasons. Confirm the voyage below (routes rotate) and review specs and sailings on this page.
