The Spanish-market startup built around the former P&O Oriana — now sailing as Buenavista and, until deployment, as Piano Land in Asia — had been counting down to early July Barcelona-area departures. Per the company's statement carried by trade press, all European departures scheduled for 2026 are off the calendar.

Corazul emerged to fill the vacuum left when Pullmantur exited the market; this is a deployment pivot, not a ship emergency. The line is evaluating 2027 European options while it redirects the ship toward South America.

Why Brazil instead of the Mediterranean

Corazul told trade reporters that South American demand ran stronger than its initial projections, that the Brazilian travel trade responded faster than expected, and that Europe's summer market already feels crowded for a new entrant.
