Millennium lead, Asia workhorse
We experience Celebrity Millennium as the class namesake that taught Celebrity how premium midsize should feel—then got Solsticized and Revolution-refreshed. We’d put couples here for Asia itineraries when they want AquaClass, Blu, and classic aft dining glass without Edge scale.
Onboard energy stays balanced and adult-leaning for a premium Celebrity Asia week. The Solarium and The Retreat handle quiet sun, atrium bars cover evenings, and enrichment plus spa time matter as much as production shows. We treat Millennium as a destination ship first—Tokyo and Singapore weeks are often why you’re here, with familiar Celebrity polish as the onboard contract.
Cabins are smaller than Solstice and Edge norms, but the 2012 Solsticizing pass added AquaClass rooms and Blu, and the 2019 Revolution drydock brought eXhale bedding and suite refreshes across the full cabin inventory. We’d book AquaClass when spa access is the point, Sky Suites when you want mini-suite space, and standard balconies when ports dominate the week. Please ask us about older bathroom layouts, outlet scarcity, and under-venue noise before you lock a category.
Dining still sells the ship for good reason: Metropolitan aft with that glass wall, Tuscan Grille for steak nights, Qsine with Le Petit Chef, and Luminae for suite guests. Robyn Roux christened her in Southampton, with sisters Constellation, Infinity, and Summit following. Major modernizations stacked over time. The 2012 Solsticizing drydock added AquaClass, Blu, and balcony upgrades, while 2016 brought Rooftop Terrace and Tuscan Grille. January 2019 in Singapore made her the first Celebrity Revolution ship with eXhale bedding, Qsine’s Le Petit Chef, SEA Thermal Suite expansion, and The Retreat sundeck.
