Meraviglia Plus with LNG scale

We point shoppers to MSC Euribia when they want Meraviglia Plus megaship energy with a cleaner LNG story and a real MSC Yacht Club escape hatch. She is built for big Northern Europe and warm-water weeks, not for anyone who freezes in 6,000-guest peak crowds.

We experience Euribia as the final Meraviglia Plus sister: long indoor Galleria promenade under a digital sky, Cirque-style nights, and family zones that stay busy from morning kids club through late teen rooms. Savannah Aquapark and the amusement complex carry the daytime wow, while Delphi Theatre and the Carousel Lounge handle the evening circuit. The vibe is international and high-volume, so hush-seekers should not expect Solstice-class calm on a Northern Europe or Dubai week.

Cabin strategy starts with whether you need the ship-within-a-ship. Standard Balcony rooms are the volume play, and interconnecting cluster cabins help multi-gen groups sleep near each other without suite money. Interior Studios still solve solo sailings, but we push serious upgraders into MSC Yacht Club when butler service, private pool space, and shorter lines matter more than headline fare.

Dining is broader than the main dining rooms alone. We use Eataly, Butcher’s Cut, Kaito, Hola Tacos & Cantina, and Indochine when the table wants a paid specialty night, then lean on the Marketplace buffet for flexible family meals. Compared with Grandiosa and Virtuosa, Euribia adds the LNG dual-fuel plant and newer specialty concepts, so confirm Northern Europe versus Dubai-season sailings on this page before you book.

She's for
  • Multi-generational families who want aquapark days and kids clubs
  • Shoppers upgrading into MSC Yacht Club for quieter service
  • First-timers comfortable with big-ship European energy
  • Groups chasing Cirque-style shows and busy promenade nights
She's not for
  • Travelers who dislike peak buffet and elevator lines
  • Couples chasing intimate luxury and soft evenings
  • Anyone who wants a small-ship expedition feel
Honest caveat

At full load near 6,000 guests, aquapark, Galleria, and elevators need patience. We’ll steer you toward Yacht Club or quieter balcony banks and off-peak dining so you skip the worst bottlenecks.

MSC Euribia, on paper

Show ship backgroundHide ship background

MSC Euribia is the third and final Meraviglia Plus-class ship, following Grandiosa (2019) and Virtuosa (2021). Built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire, she was steel-cut in June 2021, floated in June 2022, and delivered May 31, 2023 as MSC’s second LNG-capable newbuild after World Europa.

On paper she measures about 181,500 GT with roughly 2,405 staterooms and lower berths near 4,800 guests (max loads above 6,300). Meraviglia Plus stretches the original Meraviglia hull with a longer Galleria promenade, larger outdoor screen, Savannah Aquapark, Cirque programming in the Carousel Lounge, and the Starship Club robot-bartender concept shared with Virtuosa. Dual-fuel Wärtsilä engines run primarily on LNG, with shore-power readiness and updated wastewater systems.

Sophia Loren christened Euribia in Copenhagen on June 8, 2023, ahead of a June 10 maiden fjord season from Kiel and Copenhagen. Later deployments mixed Northern Europe summers with Red Sea / UAE winter programs. Confirm the active homeport on the sailings shown on this page.
