We put Oceania Allura on the shortlist when the brief is culinary itineraries without kids underfoot. She’s the second ALLURA-class sister to Vista—midsize, balcony-heavy, and now sailing as an adults-only Oceania ship for couples who treat dinner as the day’s main event.
We put Oceania Allura on the shortlist when the brief is culinary itineraries without kids underfoot or megaship noise. The mood is polished and food-led rather than Freestyle chaos, with enrichment days and Aquamar wellness time before specialty dinners. We experience her as Marina and Riviera DNA with fresher outdoor decks, now sailing under Oceania's adults-only rules that reshape who belongs on board.
There are no interior or classic oceanview rooms, so almost everything is a balcony or suite from the jump. Standard verandas around the mid-200s square feet are the value play for most couples who want light and outdoor space without penthouse money. Stretch for Concierge tiers or the aft Owner's Suites when terrace space is non-negotiable, and ask us about aft wind, Solo/Studio balconies, and promenade adjacency before you pick a pretty render.
Dining is why we sell her: Jacques, Polo Grill, Toscana, Red Ginger, the two-deck Grand Dining Room, plus Terrace Café and Waves Grill. Versus Vista she's the twin with her own chef-godparent story, and versus Regent she's more destination-dense than all-inclusive suite theater. Soft ask: if your group includes under-18s, stop and switch ships; otherwise confirm the Miami or seasonal Europe sailing on this page.
Oceania shifted to adults-only in 2026—great for couples, a hard no for family cabins. Confirm age rules and specialty-dining reservation strategy with us before you deposit.
Oceania Allura is the second ALLURA-class ship built for Oceania Cruises at Fincantieri Sestri Ponente near Genoa, following Vista (2023). The roughly 67,000 GT design carries about 1,200 lower berths and 800 crew—midsize by contemporary standards and closely related to earlier Marina and Riviera, with updated outdoor areas and an all-balcony accommodation plan. Hull 6309 was floated out in July 2024, delivered on July 10, 2025, and christened in Miami on November 13, 2025.
Owner NCLH positions Oceania in the premium-luxury lane; since January 2026 the brand has operated as adults-only. Allura’s venue mix emphasizes complimentary specialty dining (Jacques, Polo Grill, Toscana, Red Ginger), the Grand Dining Room, culinary classes in the Culinary Center, and Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center wellness programming alongside lounges such as Horizons and Martinis.
The inaugural season opened in the Mediterranean after schedule revisions, then moved through a transatlantic and Canada/New England pattern into a Miami-based Caribbean winter. Confirm the homeport and voyage length for your dates on this page—Allura’s calendar mixes short premium trips with longer repositioning segments.
