We experience Seven Seas Explorer as a quiet, high-touch Regent ship that still feels contemporary rather than museum-formal. Public rooms lean marble, art, and soft evenings instead of throngs or megaship spectacle. Days move between the Lido Pool, Horizon Lounge afternoon tea, and optional Culinary Arts Kitchen classes when you want a hands-on stretch at sea.
Cabins are the entire product story here: every category is a suite with a private balcony across sixteen grades, so you are really shopping space and service tier. We usually start couples in a Veranda Suite or Concierge Suite, then step up only when the itinerary length or celebration justifies the jump. The Regent Suite is a townhouse-scale flex with its own spa room, and we treat it as a special-occasion booking rather than the default.
