We experience Splendor as Explorer-class Regent: roughly midsize luxury with a high space-to-guest ratio and a staff ratio that feels personal from that first embarkation afternoon onward. Days are soft at Canyon Ranch SpaClub, Observation Lounge, and a pool deck that never feels like a theme park. Evenings lean Constellation Theater, Horizon Lounge, or a quiet nightcap rather than neon nightlife, and inclusive shore excursions are part of why we send destination-first couples here instead of megaship shoppers.
Every stateroom is a suite with a step-out balcony, and most voyages live happily in Concierge or higher. Steel cutting began March 2018, keel laying followed in June 2018, and she floated in February 2019 before delivery on 30 January 2020.
