Last Solstice, still the play
We experience Celebrity Reflection as the final, most suite-heavy Solstice-class ship: lawn-club calm, AquaClass dining at Blu, and The Retreat for suite guests—premium mainstream without Edge-class hardware yet.
We feel Reflection as classic Celebrity polish at large-ship scale: real grass at The Lawn Club, adults-only Solarium, and evenings that can stay soft in Michael’s Club or Cellar Masters when you want them to. She is busier than a boutique ship, but quieter than a megaship party circuit if you book the right pockets and skip peak pool hours on sea days. Pickleball on the sports deck and Camp at Sea clubs exist, but we still steer family waterpark seekers toward newer megaships when thrills are the point of the week.
Cabins are why Solstice still sells. Balconies dominate the inventory, and we would put wellness couples in AquaClass for spa perks and reserved seating at Blu; suite guests should pressure-test The Retreat and Luminae before paying up. Ask us about Concierge Class versus a standard veranda when you want lounge access without full suite money, and about decks under the Lawn Club if you are a light sleeper.
Dining and evenings split cleanly: Opus for the main room, then specialty nights at Murano, Tuscan Grille, or Qsine when you want a cover-charge night. Versus Edge-class sisters, Reflection trades infinite verandas and newer neighborhoods for proven Solstice bones—and a major 2027 modernization is on the calendar. A Celebrity Revolution drydock refreshed the product in the early 2020s; a larger Solstice-class modernization is scheduled for March 2027 with new pool-club dining, atrium entertainment spaces, Sunset Park sundeck upgrades, and refreshes to The Retreat, Blu, and Luminae.
