Royal-class calm with SeaWalk views

We experience Enchanted Princess as modern Royal-class Princess—balcony-heavy, Piazza-centered, and softer than megaship party ships. We’d put couples and multi-gen adults here when they want polished evenings, Sanctuary quiet time, and Medallion convenience without waterslide chaos.

The vibe is Princess polish rather than megaship chaos, with The Piazza atrium for people-watching and live music, SeaWalk for the glass cantilever over the water, and Movies Under the Stars for top-deck evenings. Energy stays balanced around production shows and specialty dining, without a nonstop club circuit that exhausts couples midweek. Sanctuary time remains the quiet counterweight when you need a soft landing between ports and sea days.

Roughly four in five cabins carry step-out balconies, and there is no classic oceanview category on this Royal-class ship. We book a standard balcony midship for most couples, stretch to a mini-suite for seating space, and save Sky Suites for groups who want the oversized terrace overlooking the outdoor screen. Ask us about banks under the Lido or beside elevators before you lock a guarantee, especially with light sleepers in the party.

Dining spans Amalfi, Capri, and Santorini main rooms plus Horizon Court buffet, Alfredo’s pizza, and specialty steakhouses when you want a just-because night. Versus older Grand-class Princess ships, Enchanted is newer, Medallion-native, and easier for first-timers who still want polish over spectacle. Confirm Fort Lauderdale or seasonal sailings on this page, then ask us which category matches your sleep and budget.

She's for
  • Couples who want balcony-heavy Princess polish
  • Multi-gen adults who like Sanctuary quiet pockets
  • First-timers who prefer balanced energy over megaship thrills
  • Princess loyalists stepping up from Grand-class ships
She's not for
  • Families hunting waterparks and high-octane kids zones
  • Nightlife seekers who want a party megaship
  • Shoppers chasing intimate luxury yacht scale
Honest caveat

Wrong balcony banks can sit under late Lido energy or beside elevator hubs on this large Royal-class layout. Ask us about quieter midship pockets before you lock a category—especially with light sleepers.

Show ship backgroundHide ship background

Enchanted Princess is the fifth Royal-class Princess ship, built at Fincantieri Monfalcone (hull 6275). Keel was laid 14 February 2019 with an OceanMedallion sealed into the hull for luck, she floated out in August 2019, and she was delivered 30 September 2020 as Fincantieri’s 100th cruise ship. Guest operations followed the pandemic restart into 2021.

She shares the Royal-class platform with Royal, Regal, Majestic, Sky, and Discovery Princess, plus P&O Britannia from the same family. Signature hardware includes the glass SeaWalk, an expanded Sanctuary adults area, Sky Suites on the sports deck, a balcony-heavy cabin mix, and Princess’s OceanMedallion service model across dining and guest flow.

Early seasons mixed Mediterranean homeports with later Caribbean and warm-water deployments, and Fort Lauderdale appears frequently in her program history. Confirm the embarkation city on the sailing you want, because Princess rotates ships by season. Specs and live sailings on this page are the place to verify before you book.
