We experience MSC World America as MSC's U.S.-aimed World-class resort ship: districts, thrills, and Yacht Club calm on one LNG mega hull homeported in Miami for Caribbean weeks.
MSC World America sails as seven themed districts rather than one hallway, and that zoning is how we keep a ship this large from feeling random. Family Aventura and The Harbor own ropes, splash, and the Cliffhanger swing, while the glass-roofed lido carries the resort pool day. Aft adults sundecks give quieter water when the park is loud, so pick a home-base district on day one and let the ship work for you instead of against you.
Cabins span Promenade-view plays through family connects and connecting rooms for multi-gen trips. The premium path is MSC Yacht Club, with private sundeck, pool, and suite service when you want a ship-within-a-ship on a mega platform. Standard balconies are fine if we place them away from late venues and elevator banks, so ask us before you lock a category on a ship this large at Miami peak loads.
Evenings lean big-ship MSC with promenade bars, production scale, and specialty sprinkled through the districts rather than one food-court mash-up. Versus World Europa, America is the Miami-christened twin aimed at Caribbean weekenders rather than European seasonality. Steel was cut in October 2022, the keel laid in May 2023, and she floated in May 2024 before delivery on 27 March 2025 after Bay of Biscay trials. Dual-fuel Wartsila plant and LNG tanks support the class environmental brief, and size and berth counts live on the fact sheet.
She follows lead ship World Europa (2022), with World Asia (2026) and World Atlantic (2027) still building. Design themes include seven districts, a retractable glass-roofed lido, Family Aventura attractions including Cliffhanger, and a forward MSC Yacht Club complex. Drew Barrymore christened the ship at PortMiami on 9 April 2025, and the maiden Caribbean sailing followed on 12 April.
